We love the Marten Parker Duo speakers – they are one of the most engaging monitor speakers we have heard. Despite sitting on stands the Parker Duo’s deliver a large sound that would shame many small floor standing speakers. Certainly when it comes to a coherent sound for long listening the Martens are the ones to beat at the price point. Given how good the Duo’s are the Trio’s have to offer a lot more and they really do. It is not just a bigger box for a bigger sound, the Trio is easier to drive and with the larger internal volume the sound opens up further – more than you would expect. The extra drive unit does deliver more bass and that in turn offers a more solid foundation for the remaining frequencies. Scale is improved – something that is not lacking in the Duo’s and altogether the Trio is more complete. We cant get enough of them, but what about the Qunitets………

CABINETS

The cabinet features sleek, tapering sides created from M-board, a multi-layered material offering extreme resonance reduction. Parker Trio is so resonance-free, it completely disappears within the soundstage. The newly designed cabinet balances visual appeal with low-impact on sound.

CERAMIC DRIVERS
Smaller scale design for bigger results.
Ceramic drivers are custom designed by Leif Olofsson to meet the needs of a loudspeaker in this class. Each unit has a very long linear excursion and utilises the powerful Neodynium magnet system for control. Custom designed components allows a more holistic way of building a system, making Parker Trio a super-refined Marten speaker.

BASS AND MIDRANGE
Full. Controlled. Dynamic.
Designed for the system, two 7.5” bass/midrange ceramic drivers offer a large surface area resulting in a large, precise soundstage and great dynamics. While passive radiators give the control and dynamics needed for Parker Trio. A speaker of this class demands the ultimate in bass response.

CROSSOVER
A harder working crossover.
A multi-diverse crossover technique was developed through hours of listening and testing, plus rigorous simulation, calculation and measurement. We’ve really put the work in with this crossover, using the best components and precisely tuning it to work with the system.

INTERNAL WIRING
Premium cables for purer sound.
We use Jorma Design internal wiring, for its exemplary quality and performance. Handmade in Sweden, the cables use separate + and – for enhanced shielding and the highest quality Copper. This offers natural, transparent sound; the perfect choice for our speakers.

Cables are integral components, so they must work harmoniously with our precision design and build. Jorma Design delivers exactly what a Marten speaker demands.

FEET
A new level of isolation.
The reduction of resonance has always been important to the design of our cabinets – the right isolation can mean the difference between a good speaker and a great speaker.

We worked with IsoAcoustics to design and make Marten Isolators. With this precision product, the speaker feels completely isolated from the floor, reducing resonance and distortion – leaving the soundstage free. It also makes for richer, more controlled and dynamic bass.
