Strato K is the first movie player certified by the 8K Association that meets the performance and interoperability requirements developed by the Association’s Technical Working Group. Strato K supports Dolby Vision for 4K Cinematic movies and HDR10 for native 8K playback, with a full-time 4K60 onscreen interface.

Strato movie players provide lossless audio, maximizing sound quality with a range of downstream components. Strato supports multichannel and spatial audio codecs including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

When standalone, Strato K stores approximately seven 4K Cinematic movies on an internal, solid-state drive. Featuring a streamlined interface, Strato K is optimized for navigating a small movie library.
Strato K can download a Kaleidescape 4K Cinematic movie in as little as 15 minutes over gigabit Ethernet. Downloads become a candidate for automatic deletion 48 hours after playback, making room for more movies. Purchased movies can be re-downloaded at any time.
