Pre-owned Vitus Audio SS-103 Signature Series power amplifier in black with the original packing crate. Excellent Condition with 50w Class A amplification at 8 ohms. £19999 , UK delivery available. 

Now we are talking! I supplied this amplifier originally and I vividly recall setting it up and the glorious sound it offered. I installed another one a few weeks later and in a completely different system it was clear just how much sound the Vitus offered even fresh out of the box. When you get over the weight – this is no slouch in that department – you just have the glorious rich grip from the 50W class A. We love powerful Class A amps with real current behind them –  the big units from Gryphon and Esoteric deliver on all fronts and this is where Class A really comes alive for us. At the pre-owned price I am struggling to think of an amp with the pedigree of Vitus that would even come close. If you have the space the SS-103 will reward time and time again.

We have been running the amp in our Edinburgh store with our Marten Parker Trio Diamonds and an Esoteric C1X Solo pre-amp. With this performance of partnering equipment the Vitus shines, it takes about an hour to warm up and then the amplifier rewards regardless of the music played. At low volume the Class A richness to the sound abounds and with more volume the power the Vitus offers becomes apparent as the stability and balance of sound remains – the music just becomes louder. The amplifier also has the option to run in Class A/B and this changes the power delivery and allows 100w of power ( 8 ohms) for a sound with more drive and to allow higher volumes. 

The Vitus SS-103 is available for UK delivery or inspection and audition in our Edinburgh showroom. The SS-103 is supplied with a one year warranty and is approximately 8-9 years old, the model is still current today with an RRP of £38,000

At 85kgs the Vitus Audio SS-103 is a heavy amplifier. We would deliver the amplifier to you on a pallet or with a specialist courier and depending on your location we can help with the set up and moving within your house.
